Consultations can be booked either by e-mail or telephone. I currently work out of four venues across London. In some circumstances, a home visit may be appropriate. Prior to your consultation, a food diary and questionnaire will be sent to you to complete with instructions and background information is gathered.

Consultations usually last up to an hour and detailed information is gathered to fully tailor your nutrition plan to your needs. A summary of the consultation along with any additional resources is sent to you usually within 24 hours.

Registered Dietitian (RD) is a protected title and can only be used by those who have a degree or postgraduate certificate in Dietetics. Dietitians can assess, diagnose and treat nutrition-related conditions and are regulated by the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and must be registered to practice.

Most Dietitians have completed a 4-year BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics with 1-year of that spent in clinical settings such as hospitals and community healthcare.

'Nutritionist' is not a protected title and effectively anyone can set up as one. It is important to check the qualification of your health practitioner prior to booking an appointment.

A Registered Dietitian can work as a Nutritionist but not vice-versa. At Your London Nutritionist all services offered are provided by a fully qualified, registered and insured RD.

Individual consultations are £75 per hour and this includes a full dietary assessment and a food plan tailored to your needs.

Occasionally, shorter follow-up appointments can be arranged for a reduced rate of £50 and, in some circumstances can be conducted by Skype.

Group workshops such as weaning sessions and child nutrition are usually priced at £30 per person (minimum 5 people) and last around 90 mins.

Consultancy services are also provided on request dependent upon the project.
